Awesome product of high quality at competitive price

We bought lose wool because we used metal studs and needed 16 inch wide insulation.

The web site was clear, the table defining how much one needs was spot on.

The wool was nice and clean and easy to process.

We applied the wool manually.

Best Insulation Ever!!

I have to say my entire experience with Havelock Wool has been wonderful! From the initial call to the sales team to picking up the load at the factory in Reno, to the easy installation process. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable the entire process. It was well worth the 6 week lead time for the insulation for my new yurt! And man was the insulation a total joy as compared to insulating with standard (and yucky..) fiberglass stuff. I used the batts and simply stapled them to the stud wall and covered it up with a thin wall paneling. Really, I couldn't have asked for a better product to use in my new Airbnb that promotes the use of green building materials and finishes. Thank you Havelock Wool and I'm sure all the guests at the Shasta Atomic Yurt will appreciate knowing they are staying in a healthy environment with their family and friends.

Building a new home clean and safe

After hearing about all the different kinds of insulation choices available for our new home we decided a complete investigation was going to be needed. Most of us who have spent anytime in an attic know what a horrible experience it typically is and just try to avoid the space. After reading up a bit the wool decision seemed a no brainer for a clean house until the cost was considered. Expensive right? Well adding up all cost of land and building the insulation cost for wool was less than 2% of the whole project and for us it was the difference between a clean and comfortable house vs. toxic and unhealthy one. Our home is nearly finished and we have had multiple positive comments from inspectors and contractors who wanted to know why they couldn't smell the insulation or noted how comfortable the house was to work in with minimum cooling. I did some of the wool install myself with no need for gloves or a mask and also did some work in the attic with no respiratory concerns at all. Our home is clean, quiet and very climate comfortable. The blow in wool bags and staple in batts came timely and as promised. Our insulation contractor managed the install with no problem as well as passing all codes in California including fire. We are both very please with or decision to go wool. Brent & Rhonda

Peace of mind

It has only been a few months and our home is new so are we learning how it behaves in the climate of Phoenix. So far we feel it is keeping our home balanced and comfortable in its temp between 80 and 81 degrees. Most people keep the thermostat at 78 in Phoenix. We have peace of mind because I know it is safe for my kids and my wife who is being treated for brain cancer. It is important we remove as many toxic things in our lives and insulation was one of those items.
